HOW SAENCHAI FIGHTS GIANTS

Watch How to Fight Giants

We explore the epic history of Muay Thai fighting giants, 2 methods of how they fought giants, and how Saenchai trains to fights bigger opponents.

Hello, Saenchai here...

When the opponent mocked me with my signature shuffling move...

Half of me felt a bit disrespected, but then I pretended to be angry.

Most people don't know this, but mind games (mental warfare) is extremely useful in the ring.

Being fun and playful allows you to relax and be present. That's why I like to play in the ring and smile.

This helps me enter peak performance.

But the things I do, the antics, the showmanship all help to take my opponent out of flow.

And nothing takes someone out of flow faster than fear.

He mocked me, so I show him anger.

I get serious, he gets scared, he exits flow.

I back him into corner, and layer my signature attacks to find a clear opening...

Then I almost lost, because I kicked him so hard I broke my own foot.

If I didn't finish him with this jumping scissor kick, then he would've beat me...

Mind games make a huge difference against any opponent, especially a bigger one.

Just make sure you don't kick them too hard like me ;).
